Privacy Policy

Information you provide

We process your account email and name; resumes, cover letters, work history, contact details, addresses or locations, links, education, credentials and other information you enter or upload; job descriptions and screenshots you provide; and your choices of templates and settings. Please do not include sensitive information that is not needed for a job application, such as government identification numbers, financial account details or health records.

How we use it

We use your information to create and save your account, extract information from uploaded files, generate and tailor resumes and cover letters, display previews, provide downloads, process purchases, maintain security, resolve issues and comply with applicable law. AI output may be inaccurate. Review dates, qualifications and contact details before sharing any application. We do not sell your resume content or use it for advertising in the app.

Where it goes

• Lovable Cloud hosts account authentication, saved resumes, job targets and cover letters. Access to saved records is restricted to the signed-in account.
• When you use an AI feature, the relevant resume, job text or image is sent through the Lovable AI gateway to a Google Gemini model for processing. Do not use the AI feature if you do not want that content processed by these services. Third-party processing is subject to their applicable terms and practices.
• Stripe processes checkout, payments and subscription management. We keep plan and payment-reference information, not full payment card numbers.
• Google sign-in, if used, processes authentication information. Google Fonts may receive standard connection information, such as your IP address, when your browser loads fonts.

We may also disclose information to service providers needed to operate the service, when legally required, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a lawful business transfer. We do not promise that providers never retain request logs or that AI submissions are end-to-end encrypted.

Device data and security

Your browser stores sign-in session information and preferences such as theme and selected template. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted connections, restricted account access and server-side handling of private service credentials. No online system can be guaranteed perfectly secure. Protect your password and sign out on shared devices.

Retention and deletion

Your saved documents remain in your account until you delete them or your account, subject to legal obligations and operational backups. You can delete your account in Account; this removes the account and associated saved resumes and cover letters from active records. Billing records held by payment providers and information required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes may be retained separately. Backup copies may persist for a limited period under hosting-provider schedules.

Your choices and rights

You can edit your resume, download your work, avoid optional AI features, manage your subscription and delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, or object to certain processing. We will honor applicable rights and verify requests before acting. You may also contact your local privacy authority where applicable.

International processing and children

Our providers may process information in locations outside your country, where privacy laws may differ. ResumeVine is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 16. If we learn that we have collected a child’s information contrary to applicable law, we will take steps to delete it.

Changes and questions

We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version; material changes will be communicated as required by law.
